Who We Are : Our Staff
This is generally required if you would like to hold the service at the funeral home or if you will be needing any assistance from the staff for the service. Robert "Bob" Moyers, 71, of Cabot, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, surrounded by his wife and children. He was born June 12, 1950, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Robert Merlyn Moyers and Alice Marie Edwards. Bob lived in Cabot where he attended Cabot High School and graduated in 1968.
Bobby attended mortuary school and the University of Arkansas in Hope and went on to obtain a bachelor’s in business management and a Master’s in Business Administration. Bobby has a passion for people which is what drew him to this industry. His kind and calm nature are sure to put others at ease while his professionalism provides a great experience to each family he has the pleasure of serving.

This is the cost to purchase a burial vault from the funeral home. A burial vault is required for most cemeteries, but you may choose to purchase one online or elsewhere, if you'd wish. This is the fee for the services the funeral home will provide during a funeral or memorial service.
His wife, Sandra, is originally from Fayetteville, and the couple moved here from southeast Arkansas in 2019. Scott and Paula have two children, Colby and Calli, and three wonderful grandchildren, Grayson, Charlie, and Chase. Scott is an member of The Rotary Club of Fayetteville and serves on the board for the Arkansas Funeral Directors Association. During their free time, Scott and Paula enjoy spending time with family.

Matt was so wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend this funeral home without reservation to anyone. They were truly a God-send to us after the sudden death of a relative. When my father found out he was terminal, he preplanned his own funeral. You guys were so affordable and never tried to take advantage of the situation.
Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Paula moved to Illinois as a youngster where her parents pastored a church. She later began traveling and singing as a soloist in churches across the United States. It was while singing at her grandfather's funeral in 1987, Paula met her future husband, Scott, who was the funeral director for her grandfather’s services.

We at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home are committed to serving you with the utmost regard for your family. She attends Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot, where she is involved with the children's and music ministries. She enjoys playing the piano, reading, and being with her family. Upon graduation from college, she spent several years as an elementary school teacher.
Our Pop/Dad was treated with respect and laid to rest in a way that exceeded our expectations. It means so much to our family and we will continue to uplift each of you in our prayers. Thank you for the kind and caring way that you took care of Bruce Sharp.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Jackie is the youngest of only two girls in a family of eight children. She now has two daughters of her own, Alexis and Gabriella, and a son Oliver Jack. He and his wife Marilyn live near West Fork and close to a daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren. Paula feels called to help families through the important process of pre-planning and worked as a prearrangement counselor in Oklahoma City and in Northwest Arkansas. Today, Paula manages the Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
How compassionate the staff was during our families time of grief. The way they had dad laid out was beautiful and he looked like his self. This is the cost to purchase a casket from the funeral home.
He attended family gatherings whenever possible which included years of playing cards, board games, and long family conversations and good times together. He enjoyed spending time with his sons and their families. He kept up with and attended the activities of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as giving encouragement and support.
